iPIT-13 is Infrabanx Protected Income Transaction available in 13 sectors. It provides risk exposure and quality control and assurance coverage for investors to: (a) manage their currency risk; (b) hold foreign currency in the designated iPIT-13™ account; (c) save on cost associated with conversion; and, (d) perform treasury and cash settlement of approved sector related transactions in a protected environment.
It enables participating deposit-taking trust companies and custodial banks of Infrabanx™ to provide governments, institutions, vehicles, enterprises, and sponsors (project and sector sponsors) with the requisite facilities that will enable them to process their transactions in a timely and transparent manner, while maintaining accurate records and adequate currency portfolio.
It allows to carry out all transactions in a paperless, cashless, and branchless environment, and make timely, accurate and transparent payments to governments, investors, creditors and other payees in real time;
iPIT-13 provides a full range of Canadian Infrastructure Solution™ related to resources appreciation, removing risk barriers and resources monetization required for payment, settlement and clearance of Infrabanx’s approved transactions, be it in local currency, Canadian currency, US currency or tCurrency equivalent; and, it enables investors to take advantage of the investment opportunities without compromising on the investment returns, whilst preserving capital and liquidity through investing into emerging markets the designated related transactions/projects via Infrabanx™ secure platforms/vehicles that are mandated to be prime-contracted by a G7 country.
